Cambridge Community Engagement Team Spanish Speaking Outreach Worker

The Community Engagement Team (CET) helps to connect under-served Cambridge families to community events and resources. The CET has an immediate opening for an outreach worker to engage Spanish speaking families.

Hours: 16-19.5 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule, must be able to attend a weekly Thursday morning meeting (9:00-11:00 am).

Rate: $16.65 per hour

 

Duties:

  • Reach out to and connect families to early learning services and basic needs resources.

  • Organize a series of parenting workshops to Spanish speaking families with young children in Cambridge.

  • Participate in discussions about outreach strategies for building relationships with hard to reach communities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must speak Spanish

  • Cambridge resident strongly preferred

  • Experience with children

  • Appropriate for ESOL Level 4 & 5 students

  • No professional experience needed; all training provided
